Who We Are
We are Ron Clendenin and Barrie Davenport, a married couple and online business entrepreneurs, living in beautiful Ventura, California. Nearing retirement ourselves, we founded Retiredom to share our dream of enjoying a different kind of retirement — one that sees us continuing to enjoy our work online while having the freedom to travel, learn new skills, and stay as active as possible for as long as possible.
In a sense, we’ve been “retired” for a while, having built a network of online sites and profit centers from the comfort of home over the last ten years. We love our work because it feels like play, and fortunately, we can do it from anywhere in the world. Even once we officially retire, we don’t see ourselves stopping this work altogether. We’re having too much fun!
We both bring unique skills and interests to the table here at Retiredom. Ron has the experience and a background in online marketing and consulting, investing, financial planning, motorcycling, and fitness.
Barrie’s background and experience include writing (multiple books and thousands of articles), creating online courses, personal coaching, mindfulness and meditation, painting, and travel.
Together, we have built and grown several online platforms related to personal development, mindfulness, self-publishing, crafting, and now retirement.
